Disconnecting Zapier from Your Eventbrite Account: A Step-by-Step Guide

Published on Feb 28th, 2024

Integrating automation tools like Zapier with Eventbrite can streamline your event management process, making your workflow more efficient. However, there might come a time when you need to remove Zapier's access from your Eventbrite account. Whether it's for security reasons, to troubleshoot, or simply because you no longer need the integration, disconnecting is a straightforward process.

Step 1: Log in to Your Eventbrite Account
First and foremost, you will need to log into your Eventbrite account. Go to the Eventbrite homepage, click 'Sign In' in the top right corner, and enter your credentials.

Step 2: Access Account Settings
Once you’re logged in, click on your user icon in the top right corner to access the account menu. From the dropdown options, select 'Account Settings' to enter the management section of your profile.

Step 3: Navigate to App Management
In the Account Settings area, look for a category labeled 'Apps' or 'App Management.' This section houses all the third-party applications and services connected to your Eventbrite account.

Step 4: Manage Your Zapier Integration
Within the 'Apps' section, you will find a list of the integrations you’ve established. Locate Zapier and click on it to expand the options. Here, you can review the permissions granted and manage the connection.

Step 5: Revoke Access
To remove Zapier from your Eventbrite account, look for a button or link that says 'Revoke Access,' 'Disconnect,' or 'Remove.' By clicking this, you will effectively sever the connection between Zapier and your Eventbrite account. Confirm your action if prompted.

Step 6: Confirm the Removal
After revoking access, ensure that the Zapier integration has been removed successfully from your list of active apps. You may want to refresh the page to update the information.

Step 7: Check Zapier (Optional)
Optionally, for a thorough cleanup, you might want to log in to your Zapier account and deactivate any Zaps that were connected to Eventbrite.

If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, contact Eventbrite's support team or refer to Zapier's help documentation for guidance on third-party integrations.

By following these steps, you can easily remove Zapier from your Eventbrite account, giving you control over your event management tools and ensuring that your account is only connected to services necessary for your event’s success.
