Step 1: Create a Zapier Account
- Begin by signing up for a Zapier account if you haven't already.
Step 2: Choose a Trigger App
- From the Zapier dashboard, click
Make a Zap!
. - Select the app you wish to use as your trigger, which will be the source of the data you want to add to Airtable.
Step 3: Set Up Your Trigger

Choose App & Event

- You will be presented with a list of Airtable action events such as 'Create Record', select the appropriate action for your needs.
Step 6: Connect Your Airtable Account
- Click on
Sign in to Airtable
and provide your Airtable API credentials to allow Zapier to access your bases.
Step 7: Set Up Action Template
- Match up the fields from your trigger app with the corresponding fields in your Airtable base.
- This step requires careful mapping to ensure data is added to the correct fields.
Step 8: Test Your Zap
- It's crucial to test your Zap to make sure the data flows from the trigger app into your Airtable base correctly.
- If the test is successful, your Zap will be ready to go live.
Step 9: Turn Your Zap On
- Save your changes and turn your Zap on. Your automated workflow will now be active and add data to Airtable accordingly.
