Seamlessly Integrate ProsperWorks and Gravity Forms with Zapier

Published on Feb 28th, 2024

In the world of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and online form builders, connecting different platforms to optimize workflow and enhance efficiency is crucial. ProsperWorks (now known as Copper CRM) and Gravity Forms stand out as prominent tools in their respective domains. Users often find themselves in need of integrating these two platforms to streamline data collection and management. This is where Zapier comes in as a perfect ally, serving as a bridge between ProsperWorks and Gravity Forms.

To start, ensure you have active accounts on ProsperWorks, Gravity Forms, and Zapier. Once you've confirmed that, follow these straightforward steps to connect ProsperWorks with Gravity Forms through Zapier:

Step 1: Set Up Your Gravity Form

First and foremost, create your form in Gravity Forms, which will collect the data you want to send to ProsperWorks. Make sure all the necessary fields are included, as these will be mapped to corresponding fields in ProsperWorks.

Step 2: Make a Zap!

Log into your Zapier account and click on 'Make a Zap.' Zapier offers an intuitive interface where you can search for, and select, Gravity Forms as the trigger app.

Step 3: Choose Your Trigger

After selecting Gravity Forms, you'll need to choose a trigger, which is the event that starts the data transfer process. Typically, this would be 'New Form Submission' or a similar option provided in Zapier.

Step 4: Connect Gravity Forms to Zapier

Connect your Gravity Forms account by providing Zapier with an API key or by signing in through a secure connection. This will enable Zapier to access your form submissions.

Step 5: Select ProsperWorks as the Action App

Search for ProsperWorks (Copper CRM) in the action section, and choose the appropriate action, such as 'Create Lead,' 'Add Contact,' or 'Update Opportunity,' depending on where you want to send the data within ProsperWorks.

Step 6: Connect ProsperWorks to Zapier

Just as you did with Gravity Forms, you'll need to connect your ProsperWorks account to Zapier. Enter your API key or log in credentials to create a secure connection.

Step 7: Map Form Fields to ProsperWorks

This is a critical step where you'll map the fields from your Gravity Form to the corresponding fields in ProsperWorks. This process ensures that the data collected from the form ends up in the right place in your CRM.

Step 8: Test and Activate Your Zap

Before going live, it's important to test your Zap to make sure everything is functioning as expected. Make a test submission on your form to see if it creates a new record in ProsperWorks correctly. If everything checks out, you're ready to activate your Zap and automate your workflow.

By following these steps, you can harness the power of Zapier to integrate ProsperWorks with Gravity Forms, creating a streamlined data flow that saves time and reduces error. Remember to regularly review and adjust your Zaps as needed, ensuring they continue to meet the evolving needs of your business. Happy Zapping!
