Published on Feb 28th, 2024

Integrating ClickFunnels with WordPress can streamline your marketing funnel and lead management, making sure that you capture every prospect effectively. Zapier acts as a middleman that connects ClickFunnels to WordPress, allowing you to automate the subscription process. Here’s how to set up a Zap that subscribes someone from ClickFunnels to your WordPress site with ease.

Step 1: Sign Up or Log In to Zapier

To get started, you need an active Zapier account. If you don’t have one, sign up for free at Zapier.com. Once you’re logged in, you’re ready to create your Zap.

Step 2: Create a New Zap

Click on the ‘Make a Zap’ button. This will be your workflow, where you'll define what triggers the action and what the action will be.

Step 3: Set Up ClickFunnels Trigger

  • In the ‘Choose a Trigger App’ search and select ClickFunnels.

  • Choose the specific trigger, such as ‘New Contact Activity’, and then click ‘Save + Continue’.

  • Next, connect your ClickFunnels account by signing in, and then choose the funnel and step where your subscribers are coming from.

Step 4: Test the Trigger

Zapier will ask you to test the trigger to ensure it’s picking up new contacts properly. Once confirmed, proceed to the action stage.

Step 5: Set Up WordPress Action

  • In the ‘Choose an Action App’ search and select WordPress.

  • You will be prompted to choose an action—select ‘Create User’ or another relevant action for subscription.

  • Connect your WordPress site by entering your website's URL and admin credentials.

Step 6: Customize User Details

Match up the ClickFunnels contact information to the corresponding WordPress fields such as user email, first name, and role. Define any additional information necessary for your WordPress user configuration.

Step 7: Test and Activate

After setting up the details, test the Zap to make sure it’s working correctly. If the test is successful, your Zap is ready to go live. Activate it, and new contacts from ClickFunnels will automatically be subscribed to your WordPress site.

By following these steps, you can effectively integrate ClickFunnels with WordPress using Zapier, ensuring a seamless flow of subscriber data between the two platforms.
